THE CAMPANILE

The pure, bell-like clarity and clean, austere lines of this speaker column, like the bell tower of the cloistered monastery, suggested its name.

Modest in price and adorned, like the monks themselves, in simple, sturdy black or brown cloth, the Campanile has been dedicated to an inner perfection. You will be enraptured by precise reproduction of the most ringing crescendos or the most delicate tinkling of the tiniest Vesper bell.

Campanile

The Campanile has a three (3) inch polycarbonate dome, ferrofluid-cooled tweeter, 4- 1/2 inch polypropylene treated midrange, and two (2) 8 inch woofers in an internally braced nonresonant enclosure with one (1) inch heavy damping pads on all internal panels.

Crossover points are 900 and 6,000 Hz. Frequency response is rated at 38 to 20,000 Hz., plus/minus 2 db, and sensitivity is 92 db soundpressure level at one (1) meter with an input of one (1) watt. The speaker is recommended for use with amplifiers rated between 25 and 200 watts per channel. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms. Each speaker measures 36 x 13 x 13 inches, and weighs 80 pounds. The cabinet has an oiled walnut or oak veneered top with black or brown wrap-around grill cloth.

This elegant, floor standing tower represents a bold new approach to a 3-way speaker system. The Campanile combines the pinpoint imaging and open stage of the world's most finely crafted speakers. The result is a loudspeaker unrivaled in its representation of musical information.

To maintain phase coherence, the crossover slopes in the hand built Campanile are only 6 db per octave.
