THE TRUTH ABOUT 'DO IT YOURSELF' FOAM SURROUNDS

Don't be fooled by the 'Do It Yourself' foam surround kits. There is more to refoaming a speaker than just gluing on a new edge. Proper re-alignment of the voice coil is necessary for the speaker to work accurately. This is a process that should be left to a professional. You can cause serious damage to your speaker or amplifier by trying to repair your own speaker. One size (surround-foam edge) does NOT fit all.

Speakers, like people, are all different. A flat edge surround will not fit properly on a turn-downed edge cone. The list goes on and on. Call for the many reasons your should not 'Do It Yourself.'
